Look, I didnt mean to flame you, i was just trying to see what a DIR application for this particular item might be. The logic I have seen behind using these devices was, well you saw the last email. Scootering didnt come to mind. Still im wondering, have you had to float the pinger, and if so how have you handled this?? The wrecks I have dove are mostly junk piles and if we get 10 ft of vis, its cause to have a freaking party, so if there is a reliable brand of pinger out there I would like to know about it, line reels are tedius but a necessary evil when the boat is anchored and the pingers I have seen are, shall we say, less than robust enough to bet your life on. best wishes for your upcoming seminar, Al Marvelli Ingemar Lundgren wrote: > I just new that somebody would jump at the chance at criticising this.
