It is reinforced with an ABS plate and provides storage and helps to hold the hose in place. Personally I prefer to use a cannister light all the time as it provides lighting where needed and is an excellent communication device. But for divers that do not want to use a cannister the pocket can be a great asset. > > 2. The system incorporates a weight pocket on each side while still providing a d-ring andf/or light attachment location.
