This weeks MacWEEK has an blurb on a "Weatherproof" ruggedized wireless
Newton manufactured by Digital Ocean and Harris Corp.'s Dracon Division.
It's improved chassis is said to be able to withstand a 6 foot drop onto
concrete, and is waterproof (but they didn't say to how deep!). It has a
backlight display and waterproof ports as well. All this for $3000 US.

Perhaps this will be an easier model to "Techdiver Proof".
