Bill Before you go spouting off, I think it is best that you get your facts straight. IF you came into our store last week you would NOT have been pushed or even told about a PDIC course because no-one at the store is an active PDIC instructor and hasn't being for the past 4 years. So you are lying. And as a LIAR a don't feel I should address you via e-mail. More so, I'm not convinced you were ever actually in our store. Furthermore, I didn't address "The Shadow"s e-mail as he/she is to scared to give me a real e-mail and sign it with a real name. It is easy to fling mud when you remain anonymous. As I sit here in the Extreme Exposure headquarters (JJ's shop) I wonder how to address this issue. I notice average scuba equipment on JJ's wall, as well as DIR equipment. I don't consider JJ to be a stroke. I don't consider JJ's shop to be strokery. I don't consider JJ's operation (Extreme Exposure) to be a a "bait and switch" operation. (Yes, to all JJ has Scubapro Accent BCD's for sale and so on) I do consider JJ's shop to be an excellent operation. By your philosophy Bill, JJ is also a stroke with Bait and Switch techniques. You see, I think many folks miss the point of DIR. DIR is not only about what gear you wear, or what gear sell, but more about a philosophy of diving. If you (or the shadow) had ever taken a class from me you would realize that, even so it was an SSI openwater or Advanced course, the philosophies I teach are DIR (which I live by). You would also find I wouldn't tell you what gear to wear, just suggest what works best for me. The reasoning for teaching an SSI course in the basic levels is that GUE as of yet, does not have an Openwater Class. (part of the reason I am sitting here at Extreme Exposure/GUE headquarters). So yes when someone walks into my operation and we don't know their skill level, generally we introduce them at a basic level (DIR philosophies included) and certify them SSI. At a Tech level 1 we teach a GUE program and continue the philosophy. IF that's the direction the student wants to take. You know Bill, (and the Shadow) rather than trying to publicly SLANDER me and making a fools of yourselves, I would be more than glad to sit down and talk with you about the obvious beef you have with me personally.
