As a OW student you usually don't do such a thing. I didn't know any 
better at that time and now it's too late.

Good for you. 
The stuff I mentioned (and please read the post again) *can* happen 
that way. I never really said that *all* PADI instructors are like 
that. I could also grab a shovel if I did that, being a PADI member 
myself.

I know, speaking of OW class. Isn't that embarrassing in itself? This 
specific instroketor let the girl swim 2 laps and was satisfied.

Again, that is good. I'm not talking about statistics. For PADI (or 
any other agency) *one* instroketor is enough to present the agency 
in a bad light, don't you think? Instead of ripping each others head 
off, we should do (if possible) something against that.
