What is your problem? 

I didn't wave with my PhD. It has *nothing* to do with my diving. And 
BTW, I have no intention whatsoever to impress or disappoint anyone, 
certainly not people like you.  

So you know, I did the whole thing for three reasons:
- I know many idiots who are PhDs and would treat me (female 
	engineer) like crap.
- Someone must have said once that it was too difficult to achieve. 
- It was a job requirement - my ticket to the States. 
I fought for it, and got it despite the worst enemy as adviser.

Other than that, if private emails about the original subject aren't 
good enough, I cannot help you. You obviously want to argue.
