List, > Just for laughs, loss of both deco gases adds 100 minutes to the deco > if you add the 10 foot stop, and without the 10 foot stop, 247 minutes!! Now I *really* know what our breath-hold training is good for.... It looks pretty good for me to offer that training weekly (probably Wednesday evenings for 90 minutes) here at University, starting in February. Depending on the people in charge, it might even be possible for people outside the school to join and to cover my expenses. I expect some interest and I might even be able to pick the most promising (OWD is required) divers with the right attitude. The pool training itself is planned without SCUBA, but it is one of the best tools to improve many diving skills (the students here are physically fit already - they come here for outdoor activities like climbing). Oxygen and all the safety will be provided. Interestingly enough, dive shops (the agency we were recently arguing about) around weren't interested in any co-work and wouldn't even answer liability questions. Any money that might build up will be used for SCUBA trips and such. Guess what rig I will introduce the students to (as an offer, not a must, since that is not a SCUBA class). You live in the Golden area? In the case that this becomes an open training, and that you're ecstatically interested, or you just have questions about it, please email me. If this gets screwed up (not very likely) I'll find another pool. Claudia -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
