I've realized that it's only when I'm diving the single tank that the nuts
work loose. It's the tank rocking back and forth most likely. I think I
will switch to nylock nuts and a wrench when using the single tank adapter.

I do mostly Monterey, CA beach(swim)diving, so was wondering if gaiters
would be an advantage. Still can't decide. My suit fits pretty well.

I need to get a spool; as someone else said, liftbag and reel are a
clusterfuck 8 out of 10 times. It's a high-skill task, and it seems that it
may not be necessary to do it that way. Someone else pointed out to inflate
the bag with exhausted breath, not take the reg out of mouth; good point. I
need much more practice and to get rid of this piece of shit Dive-Rite
Marker Bag, which is almost impossible to hold open.

I resent those cups of water climbing up the stairs after a long dive, but
I'll consider your advice to leave the fins unmolested

Who do you recommend for a West Coast GUE instructor: Mark Lonsdale or
Andrew Georgitsis? I'm more interested in tech than cave at the moment, and
having taken IANTD Advanced Nitrox with Wings Stocks, I'm not liking the
look of the rest of the IANTD curriculum. I'm sure I could twist Wing's arm
to teach the IANTD normoxic trimix class instead of "deep air preparation
for trimix", but still...
