Subject: Re: bits & pieces: clipping fins off

How I'm clipping them off: the finstrap on each fin goes through a loop of
nylon webbing with a male fastex on the end of it. Then I have a double
ender with two female fastexs on it clipped to my front crotchstrap D-ring.

I'm sure this isn't DIR, as the loops stay attached to my fins and flap in
the "breeze" behind me as I fin along. Another way to do it would be with a
big suicide clip (nope). Maybe I should just switch to a couple of
double-enders on the crotchstrap d-ring instead.

We do a lot of beach diving here, and the best way to enter is just walk in
with reg and mask, swim out past the surf zone and put them on there.
Fins-on entry is a drag.

Go ahead, flame away...
