Scott,

First off I guess you have a "challenge" understanding some of the banter on
this list. The terms "Cave Nazis" and "Tech Nazis" does not refer to Cave
Divers or Tech Divers that would like to persecute Jews but rather is a term
used by some to try to categorize certain individuals as following a given
DIVING philosophy in a "lockstep" (get it?) fashion, i.e. following blindly,
not thinking for one's self. It has nothing to do with your perceived insult
by Billy.

Secondly, if you are looking for political correctness you have come to the
wrong place! Suggest you move up here to Washington, D.C. and you can be as
sanctimonious as you like - and others of a similar mind will be happy to
listen.

On this site if you see something that you feel is an insult to you and it
hurts your feelings, I suggest that you use the key at the "1 o'clock"
position from your enter key that is marked "Delete". Failure to do so will
most likely result in a real insult to you that will really hurt your
feelings!

Please note: I am not suggesting that any of this is right. I am just
pointing out that that's the way it is!

Since this is the "techdiver" mailing list and not the "miss manners", "dear
abby" or "politically correct" mailing list, I suggest (in my never to be
humble opinion) that all insults and other flames be directly related to
diving activities and/or practices and that off thread arguments about whose
feelings got hurt the worst should be taken off-line.
