Cam, Try the Gators from Halcyon. They do a good job of preventing the "rush" of air/argon into the boots/socks of the drysuit. This coupled with only adding enough air/argon into your suit to "take the pinch off" should help. I got some after noticing the tendancy for the air/argon to rush to the feet when I moved to a tri-lam this year. They took care of the problem both for me (diving since '62) and for my son (diving since '97). Never used ankel weights, but I was a PADI instructor #3082 from 1973-1980 :). Now I just do it for fun!
