Hi Dan
It is understood that this is a chance to see any parts of the DIR that we
do not use, in the same that we all like to dive and it is the fun that we
do it for. It is my hope that all egos be left at the dock and an exchange
of knowledge while having fun can be had.

>I spoke to Jim Abernethy again about these dives last night. The boat we

If we have more than 6 divers on board , I would like to use a vessel Lic.
to handle the number and not the six pack.I'm sure that there is a boat you
use that can do this, if all the guys who have said want to come do come we
will have more than 6.

Have heard of the "hole in the wall" before, is this the place that the
large lobsters are found in?The guys would prefer one mix dive to a good
depth, it is a long trip for us to have to drive to do the run of the mill
stuff.

>For the purposes of going over the whole DIR philosophy, gear,

Anything 250ft or less is not a major deep dive for me , I do understand
you do not wish to put yourself into a spot with unknown divers .The kind
of diving you guys do is a bit different to what most up here are use to.

>I will try to set up some good gear demo opportunities for those coming for

Most of the guys now own scooters, currents will be handled as instructed
by those that dive it everyday. I have dived down there before and the
currents will pose no problem for those that listen.

>As to booking the boat, we need to plan ahead at least a few weeks. $60 per

The guys will mostly bring their own tanks, one set will have mix in it for
a pre planned depth, another set will have nitrox in it.

Have looked at it , I do have a place I like to stay at already down there
that is a fair deal to me, but we may stay at the Rutledge anyway.

I have sent out dates to the guys to work on, will let you know.
