Subject: Re: Bottom timer - any recomendations
I thought we were talking about relative bounce dives. One of the guys
one here sent me a profile which I threw in my opinion on and that was
what I thought we were basing this discussion on.

For long dives, I pitch the ten foot out the window completely, and
shorten the 20 significantly - you only need so much oxygen time no
matter what the dive is, but this is not what everyone is going to be
doing anyway, and if they were, I publish the exact schedules in my dive
reports on the web site anyway. For everyone else's dive reports, they
are on the WKPP section of the GUE site as of today, and the pictures
will be expanded on both sites massively in the next few days, but even
those reports are not for normal dives.

Keep in mind that we have long bottom times because we have to travel in
the caves and the deco is stationary with no external risks. For ocean
and wreck , this would be nuts, so let's just look at deco as it applies
to what 99% of us are doing the most of. For insanity, just read my
dives. For shallow cave dives, the deco is not a big deal no matter how
you do it, if at all.
