To put it plainly, there are not enough divers that know what the markings
mean if I did not have the FT on it. To only dive with those that know the
markings, means I will not be diving very much. To expose those divers who
have not seen it before the Ft answers any question before they ask it. I
am known by many here, many have heard my name long before they ever see
me. When I come on a boat, I come to DIVE. Some will look at every pc of my
gear and never ask me a question, the FT is for them. We now have a group
here that very much uses your system. I'm sure that Jim has told you that
in private, we push everyone here to dive this way. I had started using
your ways long before I got on this list, it was not as fine tuned then as
it is now. You are right about one thing, I am a tough diver. I could do
all the dives that I have done already without your system. But why? You
are right in almost every way with your system. Notice I said ALMOST, I am
not a newbie, old timer, or cyber diver . I am the guy that goes every
weekend all year long , to any depth , to any place. I am the guy that will
try shit to see if it works and be truthful at what I find. There are parts
to your system that I am dealing with and cannot seem to make it work for
what I do. One thing I cannot do is be like you , I like to DIVE. I like
diving with people who like to DIVE. I have only refused to dive with one
person before. I then was asked to dive with this person again and did so
only when the guys I use did support for us, that was my condition to go.
There are many things I do to help these divers in this area become better
safer divers.By your standards I am not DIR, but by using your system and
my toughness that makes me GID (Getting It Done) You have no idea what your
saying when you address me. Get a grip, diving is too much fun to be
covered with the BS you put on it.
