Subject: Re: BC inflator hose
You can losen the clamp and turn it anyway you want it. You do not want
it facing towards you or away from your body for the same reason there
is a guard on a drysuit inlfator button. For purposess of using it as a
backup reg there is no differnce where you face it since you can twist
it. For ease of operation, the way you used to have it is best.

The only problem is that when you have a couple of stages on, they will
inflate the bc for you every now and then if the button is away from
them - they push the button up againt you in certain postions. They do
not seem to do that , paradoxically enough, when the button is facing
the stages since the stages can not hit the button squarely.

I still do it the way you do it. I reverse all of mine to so that the
button faces the towards my center, and for exactly the reasons you
describe. I just move it if it tries to inflate by itself.
