Tod,

I also think this is a good idea.  The info is for the most part available on
the web, but it is
scattered around on various WEB sites as well as in the archives.  It would be
nice to have it
consolidated in one web place.  I know Jim Cobb has tried to some extent and
has a bit of a FAQ on
his TRIMIX site.  There is also Tod Leonard's site, GUE, WKPP and the Techdiver
Archives.  That's
only the sites I am aware of off the top of my head.  I'm sure there are
numerous others... 

At the very least a comprehensive and well organized FAQ would stop some of the
gear questions
appearing on the list repeatedly once every couple months...
