Unfortunately I found these to be tricky to fasten, especially with cold or gloved hands, because of this the chances of the buckles 'popping' open under strain are quite high. This is my personaly opinion, and I have had mine replaced with standard 'fastex' buckles, with which I have had no problems in the past. Having said this, the smaller (less than 25mm) 'fastex' buckles do snap after some time if they are constantly used under strain. Cheers, Ali Lawrie.
