Subject: a way to airlift a diver

In lifting a scuba diver in and out of awkward places and in rescuing, the
problem arises of how to sling a diver from a rope. Is there way of e.g.
fastening two big carabiners to a scuba harness?, so if he needs rescuing the
strop can be passed thru the carabiners so he needn't jettison his kit?
