I wear a Viking Pro Surveyor and my tools are part of my weight system. I always used DUI C-2 undies, but have just changed to 'Andies Undies' and like them lots. With twins and ideal maniold, I wear one 8 lb weight on right hip and a 6 pounder plus my lump hammer (3 pounds) on left hip. The crowbar weighs maybe 3-4 pounds (it's a smaller one) and I'm neutral with just enough air in the suit to be warm. The Viking does not change bouyancy with depth, unlike any of the neoprene suits, and with some 15 years on this particular example it's well patched but with the original zipper.=20 Bottom line: I removed weight for the tools, and feel it's a good trade-off. After all, I cannot beat a porthole off with a 4 pound lead chunk... Best to have -usefull- ballast. ;-) Dave Sutton =20 =20 Dave Sutton,=20 I'm curious Dave what B.C. you are using for the extra weight(tools) = you carry.=20 Greg Kuiper=20 ----- ------=_NextPart_000_0039_01BF1CC7.E4BE2740 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD W3 HTML//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META content=3Dtext/html;charset=3Diso-8859-1 = http-equiv=3DContent-Type><TITLE>RE: a [futile?] attempt at producing = useful information</TITLE><!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML = 3.2//EN"> <META content=3D'"MSHTML 4.72.3110.7"' name=3DGENERATOR> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT color=3D#000000 size=3D2>I'm not.
