I have been somewhat disappointed in their record keeping, however. As someone else just noted, when someone famous (or on a famous mission or wreck) dies, you hear about it. It's not hard to spot accidents that were written up in, say, aquaCorp, in the DAN publication or accident summary book. When you can do that kind of comparison, DAN's reports are often very terse and hard to learn much from. I hope somewhere they keep more detail, but if they do, I wish they'd share it with us instead of giving us little more than statistics.
