Subject: Isolation Manifold
To: techdiver@aquanaut.com
What is the correct procedure for shutting down manifold valves on a set of
doubles when you hear air leaking from behind your head and without your
buddy close at hand to determine if it's a tank O ring or hose leak?

A. Isolation valve first, then right or left valve depending on side you
think air is flowing from? If it's a tank O ring this will save some air. I
have read this.

B. Right or left valve and if sound continues then turn isolation valve off?
I Have been taught this in a cave course. Any replies would be appreciated
but please no song and dance about where's my buddy and changing O rings
before every dive
BOB.
