Chris,

Bob Sherwood is a full wkpp member, but his shop is on Lake Erie I believe.

Tony Thomas at Stingray is a full on Halycon dealer, and I believe they do
ANDI for gas training, which is the least strokish of the agencies from a
narcosis standpoint, although they are big on the o2 cleaning. Will is right
about the cave guys, but even they screw the pooch from time to time. We had
one russian <trained full cave and ow instructor> who cut the anchor line on
purpose < !!! > and who was never able to explain his action.

I try to dir < this season I have been evaluating the aluminum double
concept, and dammit if he isnt right again> and we have a couple of
"converts" who dive off our boat occasionally < paging the Hansen brothers,
email me boys> but russians with oms, force fins, a limited grasp of deco
theory < vif zhu do long divez, zhu hangski yes? hau much minute?> and more
balls than brains tends to be the rule.

Bottom line in the NE is, if you want to DIR you have to start with yourself
and then slowly try to teach small bits of the system piece by piece to your
buddies. Give it a couple of years and you'll have something.

If you have any other questions, drop me a line.

Regards,

Al Marvelli
