I have seen a few, some of whom have never had cave training, but it turns out that they were trained by a cave instructor or a cave trained instructor! On the boats we use, DIR diving rigs are not common, but becoming more common. This is A Good Thing. Next season Tina and I would like to take a mix class, but our objective is trimix in the 100-200 foot range. We have no interest in anything deeper. We're also looking for an instructor with DIR credentials.
