I attach my lift bag to my front d ring with a section of bungee and shove it back betwen my tanks and my back. For wreck diving penetration I use a smaller argon bottle which slides over the belt on the left side and hold it back against the backplate with a small bungee loop over the butt of the tank. This is done with a large belt loop that allows the tank to slide over the knife and the left d ring and therfor can be removed like the light if I get keyed or stuck. For cave, the tank mount with velcro breakaway is prefered. The Halcyon straps are made that way. You must be looking at a cave diving rig . I describe all of this kind of thing in the "Doing It Right" tapes. Mark Winters wrote: > > I'm new to DIR and I have a couple of questions. > > 1. When wreck diving, I carry a 100 lb lift bag.
