What are the chances that he was also using a Poseidon Odin or Scubapro G250, wearing a DUI drysuit, donning a Uwatec, or side-carrying an AUL light? Did these contribute to his death also? They too were no doubt found at the death scene, and they too have an uncanny knack of being present at most technical diver fatalities? What can we deduce from all this? The answer of course from the WKPP will be quick in coming: No, because differing members of the WKPP wears each of the above items from time to time themselves and therefore because they use them (the arrogance and pomposity of this logic aside), and they never die, than it must necessarily follow that these items are safe, right? Or some similiar likeness of this convoluted logic. That and the fact that George has deemed them safe among the myriad of competing pros and cons and tradeoffs, therefore no longer making the matter one of unproven subjectivity, but passed down from the Gods themselves. Everyone, please read the below and than upon your next opportunity purchase a copy of "The Rhetoric of Reason : Writing and the Attractions of Argument" by James Crosswhite or "How We Know What Isn't So: The Fallibility of Human Reason" by Thomas Gilovich. Take an evening to read through either of these titles and begin seeing through some of these tenuous arguments often posted by the WKPP to demonize different manufacturers gear and technologies over and above those internally "tested" themselves. A couple aha's will start going off in your head after you have just a minor education in speculative theory and reason.
