I don't alwaays agree with the DIR approach but the results are
indisputable. If you want a safe way to carry out a project then I'd look
no further than that. It's a system based on experience rather than opinion
and it works, just check the archives. And yes, I am in the UK too, but I
used to live on Martha's Vineyard which is virtually next door to the
Andrea Doria -- and I never saw a summer where no-one died on her.
