Rubatex G-231 with an attached hood is the only way to dive cold water. Unless of course you use a dry suit instead. The attached hood makes it harder to put on. If you go with a "skin in" suit I've found that a diluted mixture of baby shampoo and water sprayed on the suit helps a lot. If you don't go with the "skin in" at least get skin seals at the wrists and around the face of the hood.
