Hello All, I have searched the archives and came up with only one, old thread on this topic, so here goes: I have a friend who has had some pretty major surgery to his hand and his doctors tell him that there is a lot of scar tissue that has formed in his hand and wrist. As I understand it, scar tissue is (in theory) a very "slow" tissue i.e. it on gasses very slowly and off gasses equally slowly because of poor blood supply. His "diving doctor" advised him to stop all diving for at least 6 months because of the risk of DCI as a result of the scar tissue in his hand. What sort of real world experience do people have with injuries like this one and what sort of adjustments would they make to their deco schedules ? My friend is a sport diver (no mixed gasses, only air), but I figure that this is the best place to ask this question. Thanks in anticipation, Simon Murray -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
