I'm not in any way saying that the Doria isn't dangerous. What I am
saying is that the feeling I got from the dateline article was that ALL
DIVING was dangerous, extreme, hard work, and even sinful.  Nothing
specific, just that there was not any counterpoint in favor of proper
training and experience to do such diving. It was all about how many
have died. Very little mention of the many successful dives conducted
there each year.
