And this is exactly the point!  You know it is more
dangerous, but you choose to take the risk anyway!
This
is the same point people are trying to make about deep
air etc.  This is also part of the definition of
Stroke.  No one is advocating that you need to hold
your buddy's hand throughout the dive! It is possible
to dive with a buddy who is a photographer, I've done
it... You are simply choosing not to.
