Take your best guess calculation.  It matters a great deal whether =
you're wearing a wet suit or dry suit or no suit at all. Then again, it =
matters a great deal how thick the wet suit is and/or how much =
insulation you're wearing under your dry suit.=20

Add the weight to your system, either on weight belt or integrated into =
your back plate and get in the water, preferably within arms reach of =
the ladder, or in shallow water.  See if it's enough. If you can barely =
descend with all the air out of your B.C., you had better add another =
five to six pounds for each aluminum 80 you're packing so you don't have =
trouble towards the end of your dive when your tank(s) are less full.

Experiment by adding or subtracting weight. If you guess too light, you =
end up carrying rocks around or hanging onto the deco/ascent line =
towards the end of the dive...
