Can anyone think of a single cave diving or wreck diving instance in which mounting a canister light head to your reel would be a good idea? For the life of me, I can't come up with one. Imagine trying to make a tie-off in a cave with the reel attached to the light. Or, trying to shoot a lift bag with the reel tangeled in your light cord. What were they thinking? These reels might be fine, I don't know and have never used one. But you sure have to question the judgement and experience of the designer who came up with that one.
