Actually, I think that's a great idea. Outside of North Florida, the only place I've been where full DIR gear can be rented was Atlantis Divers in Fernando de Noronha, Brazil where I was able to rent DiveRite manifolded AL80 doubles along with AUL backplate harness and wings. They also had properly rigged stages with Scubapro regs. This is a remote island chain in Northeast Brazil and they managed to have trimix available for techdivers who want to dive the local wreck and deep walls. Jarrod Jablonski happened to be there at the same time and he was teaching trimix to some of the divemasters. I promise you there's no place in Alaska where you can rent DIR gear. Heck, I don't even know anyplace in Seattle where you can rent full DIR gear. Buy it, yes, but rent it? Cobb, you have the best reference site going. How about devoting a page for a listing of confirmed DIR operators who have the appropriate gear and gas available?
