There are 2 occasions where the mix will change on a NiTek3. The first is
when you did not set the default mix, it should be the one which comes up
when you switch to plan mode. The second is when the computer does not
like your PP02 selection for a particular depth, it will want to change
back. This is particularly noticeable on the 20' 02 stop.

As far as I know you have a group of "beta-divers" who take the thing
down and dive it. I suppose the unit can be put in a dive simulator
pressure tank. The Nitek is made by Seiko.

Here's a good one. DiveRite called our local dive shop and asked if this
guy who lives in Richmond had actually bought his computer there.
Apparently this weasel had sent a letter with his Nitek registration card
saying that he was diving in Australia and while there a Great White
shark had bit it right ooff his wrist. He wanted DiveRite to give him a
free new computer. Turns out that when he was down here he asked to look
at a nitek and stole the registration card out of the box. What a fucking
weasel.
