Sigge, send this to techdiver - that is where this stupidity is. I would
like to see some of the real idiots in cave diving, like Gerrard or
Hienerth, try to explain putting the long hose on the left post of a
manifold. Real well thought out , obviously, but then an idiot is an
idiot.

These independent users represent an even lower order of dumbass: the
valves of the single tanks end up with the left one pointed in where it
is nearly impossible to operate, so these morons think that is better
than two that can be reached. In addition, these guys are too stupid to
understnad how a regulator works or why a valve can freeze. They need to
lean how to lower intermediate pressure to allow operation without
freezing. This is a real tough concept for a stroke, a dive shop monkee,
or a big time dive instructor to grasp,  I realize, but then a reg is a
very complex piece of equimpment, right? Kind of like a toaster or a
slinky. 

 The problem in diving is that it attracts psyche patients, it is taught
by idiots, and it is supported by an infrastructure of bullshit. People
are dying left and right, and nobody seems to be able to figure out why.
Why gets demonstrated every day on techdiver in the half-assed logic of
the hordes out there.
