The only changes I have made from the DIR cave configuration described, for example, on the GUE web site, are the following: -switched to rubber (sherwood) knobs on manifold as they are MUCH easier to grip with gloves on. -use larger stainless bolt snaps on stages and other gear (easier with gloves) -carry lift bag on rear crotch strap and other ocean safety gear (flares etc) in drysuit pockets. I'd also like to get a smaller canister light as my current AUL is overkill for a lot of open water stuff. But, until then I still use the Spectrum 14. Otherwise, my cold water Alaska rig looks EXACTLY like what I would use for Ginnie Springs. Kent Lind Juneau, Alaska -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
