Sean- Around these here parts the light spectrum seriously degrades after about 60 ft. or so. Everything is an odd muddy blue color. 50watts does wonders to alleviate this apparently local phenomenon. Also the lobsters must not pay their electric bills because when I am after them, not a one has the courtesy to leave his living room lights on so's I can get a grip on him. And when you are in the middle of a scooter-induced sand storm, it really helps to actually see what it is that you are digging for. Come to think of it, if you are diving and not seeing everything there is to see, whats the point of the dive? Oh, yeah, the narcosis, sorry, I forgot about you guys.
