Subject: plans are ruined...please HELP!
Okay, I thought I had my plan for dealing with the Year 2000 crisis
completely thought out. I've stockpiled food, water, prescription
medications, cash and gold, and other necessities in my underground
shelter. We all know that planes will fall from the sky, the stock
market will crash, traffic will halt, and bonded wings will be proven
effective once the new year arrives. All because computers can't tell
the difference between 1900 and 2000.

Since Armageddon is almost upon us, I had planned to go spend long
periods of time (starting about 11:45pm on Dec. 31) either in a cave, or
inside a wreck. (I don't want to be smashed by any of the falling
planes, or shot by any of the looters!) But I've come to realize there
are two problems with my plan. First, my NiTek computer will
reset/default at midnight (is there a Y2K patch for the NiTek yet???)
Second, I realized once I dive, I won't be able to get any of my tanks
refilled. You see, the standard hydro marking system uses 2 digits to
indicate date. No dive shop I know of will fill a tank that hasn't been
hydroed since 1900!!!!

I can't resolve to spend Armageddon underwater until my cylinders are
made to be Y2K compliant. Can anyone help? Has Halcyon come out with a
Y2K compliancy patch for LP steel cylinders?

Thanks in advance...
-Case
