It takes two to have a pissing contest and I'm sure Wak 2 isn't blameless either. That would have been the first thing a reasonable person would do but the hard feelings seem to go way back. That's the problem with pissing contests: everybody gets pissed on, pissed off, and nothing gets settled. Why don't we at least have a cease fire before somebody else gets killed? When people feel like they are surrounded by critics they tend to defend their positions to the last, even when they are wrong. If we can ratchet down the hyped up name calling maybe those guys will re-evaluate their methods and make things safer rather than circling the wagons.
