Hello! Excellant point. They came to us for help, but then told us how we would have to do it. To this George answered thanks, but no thanks. Contrast this to the upcoming project the WKPP will be helping out with in Mexico where the guys said "hey, we need your help. What is the best way to do this?" Also, it is interesting to note, that a bunch of the W2 divers are really great guys and came to the US hoping to get a chance to dive and learn from the best divers in Florida. The have privately been talking to the WKPP guys and actually seem quite receptive to many of our ideas. Several have expressed a desire to dive with us in the future. In short, if not for the horrific ego of Bill Stone, a guy who according to his own divers really knows very little about cave diving, this could possibly have been a very successful joint venture. If he did not have 13 years of RB development costs to recoup, maybe he would have been more flexible.
