No Trout, not a cease fire on this list. A cease fire between Wak 2 and WKPP.
Where it matters. Having you guys looking over their shoulders second guessing
everything they do isn't helping anybody.

Discussions are what this list is here for. I'll be real interested to learn
the
details of this accident. Not so I can use it to slam dunk a rival, but try to
learn something.

The incident needs to be examined in detail, like any accident, to determine
all
the factors that contributed to it.

I don't have a dawg in this fight either way.

And actually, one of your boys fired the opening volley here when he posted a
notice about the fatality. By the tone of his post he seemed disappointed that
Wak 2 wasn't blamed in the news report he saw.

> Does the expression the pot calling the kettle black seem to apply here?

No. I accused you guys of gloating. What exactly is it that I'm gloating about?

Arguments for what? The only argument I was making was that this pissing
contest
between Wak 2 and WKPP wasn't doing anybody any good. Are you suggesting that
it
is?

You seem to be assuming that I'm blaming you guys for this fatality. Let me say
again, I'm not and never did. But from what your own guys have posted on here
you fought these guys every step of the way. That didn't make it any easier for
them to get their tasks done.

Why is it so important to you that these guys fail?

Your previous posts suggest that WKPP offered help but the two groups couldn't
agree on some important issues. I'm not suggesting that you should have
compromised. You can't compromise on basic safety issues.

I just suggested that it might have been better to just walk away without
comment, and let them fail on their own rather than start all the jeering and
backbiting.

> Then it was we didn't hand hold them and show them the way
> around the cave.

Nope, just suggested that you either lend a hand or get out of the way.

> Next we didn't give them scooters.

Nope, again just suggested that you could have offered and evidently you guys
did. What's all the heartburn with the scooters about anyway? Is the designer
trying to commercialize his scooter design? I could understand that he would be
upset about somebody swiping the design for a commercial product.

> And finally, we go
> full circle to the ever popular "why can't we all just get along."

Nope, suggesting that you guys guys just get out of the way and let them
succeed
or fail on their own merits, without adding to their problems by running them
down every chance you get is not the same as "why can't we all just get along."

If the two groups have differences just go your separate ways and leave each
other alone.

You might have been more successful at overcoming their egos if you'd lost the
belligerent attitudes.

If all you did is make them dig in their heels, the whole situation would have
been better if you stayed out of it.

Whether you like it or not those guys got a permit and they have a right to
dive.

OK, for the current list of perjoratives:

goober
chief
clueless
tough guy

Gee guys George is much more creative at this, haven't you got any new ones? :-)
