The mk20 abandoned the traditional SP spec kit grease for a thermal
bushing. The general feeling is that the bushing does not work nearly as
well. However, it is possible to also install the grease, as for the
earlier models, and that seems to be what knowledgeable cold water divers
are doing.

I use a metal cased 109 with a spec kitted Mk 5 for ice. Works great.
