Ranjit and Geoff, Bloody strokes - get yourself some decompression planning software and cut your tables. I thought Jeff Bentley killed this thread off when he last replied to this Ranjit bloke. The only advantage of a Nitrox computer is so that you can easily switch mixes when your lack of buoyancy causes you tox on your 80%. Tables, depth gauge and watch - good enough thirty years ago - good enough now. Everyone gave the nitek 3 a big thumbs up. Having just returned from a trip to Truk and Guam, and used the nitek 3 for all the diving I would recommend it. It's is very easy to use. Only advice I would have is that you do not buy the interface software. They make a lot of claims about it, but the current version does not work that well (uploaded dives that do not end, date format screwed up, the sample dives supplied with the programme mess things up, the interface to Dive Voyager is not implemented, you can't cut and paste dives between log books, the list goes on) and besides the nitek only holds the last 10 dives which is a problem when you're on a trip and can't download them. From what people tell me about the Nemesis, I think it would be unreliable as a paperweight. Hope that helps.
