I put Yuasa 12volts, 17 Ah in my scooters. I heard that the Panasonic are also recommendable. I don't know if the Power-Sonic are good, but according with their specification, they provide a good power to weight ratio. The Portalac seem to be less good. When looking at battery specifications, don't take the face value for granted. For example, the 17ah current specified on my batteries is for a discharge rate of 20 hours. The available power is much less on a one-hour discharge rate (this is what you should look for). If I remember, when I purchased my batteries, the Yuasa were the best ones on a one-hour discharge rate (among the sealed lead acid batteries).
