Fred, I would suggest you enroll into some classes with an IANTD or a TDI instructor before killing yourself. The problem is that if you don't and you die, this list won't be able to blame anyone nor any agency (can you immagine the nightmare?!). I'm sure the risk is lower with most instructors than alone. If you choose to follow my advice, don't go by the price or the location... just select a good instructor (there are some very good ones that would be pleased to teach you I'm sure).
