Yeah, I read down to a sunless sea last year because a friend of mine helped edit it (Jeff Carson). Most of the caves he talks about are real (I especially liked the "fictional cave" which begins with a "W" and has tunnel names like "A", "B", hmm, wonder what that's based on). But the other stuff, "white room", "big room", "peacock", "black abyss", all real (black abyss is in Leon Sinks however, and no 'tight squeeze' restriction to get to it, and it is friggin' huge). I don't know if I'd caller "Tiller Galloway" a "Dirk Pitt" type however, he's more of the "anti-hero"; bitch-slapping his girlfriend, drinking like a fish, beating his son, etc.. A good novelization of some of the more colorful mutants in the cave diving "community". Hell, if he was a child molester or credit card thief I'd say they really portrayed former cave-oriented dive shop owner well. Good reading none-the-less..
