point of clarification: if you are handling the suit, why should he pack his
toothbrush?
It sounds like you are implying that he will be there for jail time,
something you cannot accomplish with a civil suit, and if you are handling
the suit, civil is all it can be.

now, if the DA were to "handle" the case, that would be a different story.
But that would be the DA, and not you.

So tell us: what exactly are you going to sue for?

P.S.  if his ISP is configured like most ISPs (dynamic IP address) you have
succeeded in narrowing him down to one of about 10,000 users.  better than
nothing, but no cigar.  And if you really knew who he was, why not call him?
