Oh, man, all you have to do is try one once and you will be hooked. Before the scooter it would take me 4 or 5 dives to get the big picture of how a wreck is laid out. With the scooter you can circumnavigate the wreck 2 or 3 times on the first dive and get the picture right away. And once you have the picture you don't need to run a line. Therefore you never have to run a line. The big drawback is that you don't spend as much time with your nose in the mud finding stuff because you are having so a blast buzzing around.
