I remember that bent activity, if I remeber correctly wasn't there a discussion about air lifting the victim (of himself) off the boat. Someday Jim will age a bit more, as his son grows, then he will understand this state. -----Original Message----- From: listowner@ci*.co* [mailto:listowner@ci*.co*]On Behalf Of Capt JT Sent: Sunday, October 18, 1998 3:54 PM To: Jim Cobb Cc: vbtech@ci*.co*; techdiver@aquanaut.com Subject: Re: Dive incident Yes it is true,I was that diver. The facts may have been a bit stretched, but I did not know how bad it was until this morning. When I awoke the pain that was in my shoulders and left knee the day before were gone,it was only seconds before I knew they were not truly gone but had moved to a different appendage. The pain was almost unbearable,as I raised the sheets to see,There was no doubt I was bent.At a 20 degree bend to the left there it was.Jim was not there to help me as he was the day before,So I let mother nature take her course and when I went to the bathroom to relieve myself (take a piss) I was cured. She held no ill feelings toward me for poking the sharks as they got to close eating the fish that the fishermen had left there. And at my age I still get bent every morning, which shows what great shape I'm in.:) JT At 10:32 AM 10/18/98 -0400, you wrote: >Fellow Divers- > >On the Miss Lindsey yesterday I am sorry to report an bent diver. >Following a 80min profile on the Chinago the victim then dove on the >Powell for another extreme dive.
