Much better post. As I said in my previous post, the ladder is not the
best. I never disagreed with this one. I've climbed better and worse.
I'll have to re-read the original post, sounded like you HAD to take off
your gear to climb the ladder. This was the main point of my post. If
you post information, be correct and concise. Your response did just
that!

Thanks,
Art.

To my knowledge Jim has never dove off the Seeker, the info he
past on was
from within the group. There were 3 at the meeting that had dove
the Andrea
Doria on the Seeker,I was one.I was the one who opened the
discussion on
that subject. It is our hope to let everyone know that the NE
dive boats are
rigged like this. You do not have to remove your back gas,but to
climb that
ladder with stages the first time I could not.Everyone that had
been on the
boat before had gear lines,I did not.I was not told about
this.The ladder
is the worst I've ever seen.
The granny line lays flat under the boat, one must be careful not
to get hit
in the head by the boat in high seas. The entry is also not the
best.But in
all I will go back,no one said it was easy.I could have been
told,did not
think to ask,my friend who had been before had the same things
happen.Did
	not tell me,so he would not be alone.At 800 dollars a trip,a
nice ladder
would help.I AM NOT BASHING THE BOAT,IT IS A WELL RUN TRIP.I
hate the
ladder, not the people.Just want to tell others so they can be
more
prepared.Or must all new divers be kept in the dark.Learn the
hard way?I
	think not.
